Nikki Garcia Stuns on Red Carpet in First Appearance Since Shocking Artem Divorce!

Now is the time for Nikki Garcia to move on!

On Monday, January 6, to commemorate the launch of WWE’s Monday Night Raw on Netflix, the former WWE star, who gained notoriety under the stage name Nikki Bella, went back to the beginning.

In her first significant red carpet appearance after resolving her divorce from ballroom dancer Artem Chigvintsev in November, Garcia, 41, walked the red carpet alongside current and past WWE celebrities at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

For the event on Monday, the WWE Hall of Famer wore a red leather strapless corset and matching leggings.

After Nikki Garcia’s engagement to her ex-boyfriend John Cena ended, she began dating Artem Chigvintsev; however, their relationship ended in September 2024. Garcia, once known as Nikki Bella, and Cena ended their relationship permanently in July 2018—nearly seven months later.

Two years after she and her sister Brie Garcia dissolved their relationship with the WWE, and two months after she and Chigvintsev, who have a 4-year-old son named Matteo, split last year due to domestic abuse, Garcia made a comeback on the red carpet. At the time, Garcia’s representative told Us Weekly that Nikki and Artem had reached a settlement in their divorce and would not be appearing in court. “In an attempt to move on with their lives and successfully coparent their son, both parties agreed to revoke the domestic violence restraining orders against one another.”

The statement went on to say: “Nikki’s son and privacy have always been her top priorities. She is appreciative of all the love and assistance she has had during this trying time.

In August, Chigvintsev, 42, was taken into custody after allegedly fighting with Garcia in Napa, California. The dancer was arrested for domestic battery and charged with felony domestic violence at the time, according to Us. That same day, he was freed on bail. (Prosecutors refused to charge him in September.)

Chigvintsev and Garcia both filed for divorce a week after his detention became public knowledge.

In an episode of her and sister Brie’s podcast, “The Nikki & Brie Show,” in December, Garcia talked about her breakup with Chigvintsev for the first time.

“I have experienced heartbreak. You have this amazing love and you fantasize of having this family, but it just works the other way around. You have a wonderful love story, and then you have a bad one,” she remarked.

After a divorce, celebrities occasionally get back together merely to say goodbye to each other once more. Although many celebrities have had multiple marriages and divorces, some celebrity couples are infatuated with one another and keep returning to one another.

Garcia claimed in a subsequent podcast broadcast that she had not experienced “a day without tears” since resolving her divorce from Chigvintsev. “I simply know that divorce, or anything like this, takes a piece of you,” she remarked. The question is, “How do we make that bit of you that is gone strong?” It takes a piece of your heart that will never grow back or be replaced.

After competing together on season 25 of Dancing With the Stars in 2017, Garcia and Chigvintsev started dating in 2019. The couple was married in 2022 after welcoming their son, Matteo, in 2020.
