Blake Lively Files Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Against Baldoni
Blake Lively’s actions against her recent co-star Justin Baldoni must have been unprecedented.
Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni this week for sexual harassment after months of rumors circulated about a rivalry between the actor and the actress, who starred in the movie It Ends With Us this year.
According to papers TMZ was able to get, Lively claims that Baldoni participated in a campaign against his coworkers and fostered a toxic work atmosphere on the set of the aforementioned book adaptation.
The records specifically state that Lively had “serious emotional distress” as a result of Baldoni’s actions. comprised discussing Baldoni’s prior “sexual conquests” or “pornography addiction,” as well as “showing Blake naked videos or pictures of ladies.”
According to the lawsuit, Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, even went to a meeting with the film’s producers to discuss these issues.
“No additional discussions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more concerns about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father” were among the other subjects, according to TMZ.
The meeting mentioned above also stressed that there be “no further adding of sex scenes, oral sex, or on camera climaxing by BL outside the confines of the script BL accepted when signing onto the production,” according to TMZ, which quoted the lawsuit.
As previously mentioned, there were purported disagreements with the final cut of It Ends With Us, which Lively produced, as well as disagreements on the specifics of the film’s marketing.
Lively claims that in order to “damage” Lively’s reputation, Baldoni and other members of his group launched a “social manipulation” effort.
Baldoni’s PR even sent the studio publicist text messages stating that Baldoni “wants to feel like [Ms. Lively] may be buried, and “We can not write we will ruin her,” according to the lawsuit.
Lively and Baldoni never sat down for any joint interviews or walked the red carpet together while promoting It Ends With Us.
Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, has retaliated against Lively’s complaint, calling it “false, offensive, and purposefully lurid with a goal to publicly damage” and arguing that it is an attempt to “repair her negative reputation.”
When questioned about It Starts With Us, a possible sequel to the film based on a novel of the same name, Baldoni told Variety before the movie’s premiere that he and the production company had not “even begun to think that far ahead.” I am making every effort to remain in the here and now.

If a sequel is made, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will not be in it.
